Born Owen Joshua Tomlinson, I grew up with a huge love for music and soon developed an interest in creating and performing it. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old and my main influences as a guitarist were Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Slash and David Gilmore. I also play a bit of keyboards and bass guitar and I am very well versed in music production as well. Ever since college, I have been honing my skills as a performing musician and recording artist and I eventually earned myself a First Class Honors Degree in guitar performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

I have performed with many bands and have been involved in numerous collaboration projects, for example I’m currently the guitarist for Introvertus and we write and record our own songs. Sometimes, I even compose my own instrumentals and would like to use some of them for any other project that I either form or join. I’ve also been the lead guitarist for a couple of function bands that cover famous songs from any genre and decade, such as Above Board who I’ve performed with the longest. Now I have adopted the stage/artist name, Joshua Jones, and I am very eager to find work as a freelance professional guitarist and songwriting partner for any style of music.
