SHARD and I had a battle of the bands performance at The Big Red in London, which was hosted by #M2TMLONDON. We didn’t make it through to the next round, but we had a fun time playing at the event and the promoters, audience and the other bands really enjoyed what they heard.
Here’s some video footage of one of the songs we played at the gig. Sound quality of the video isn’t great and there were definitely some messy moments in our playing here and there, but it was still a very solid performance.

I posted my first three guitar jam videos on my Facebook page. In those videos, I played some very well known Rock ‘n’ Roll songs from the 1950’s; three personal favourites of mine that I really enjoy playing.
Expect to see more guitar jam videos like these soon. For each video I make, I will be playing popular songs from multiple genres to further demonstrate my versatility as a guitar player.

SHARD and I just started practising a new song in our set, “Winter Demon”, and we managed to learn it quite quickly.
My band and I have been getting some recognition. Gigride did an interview with us and posted it on their blog page and Zarina Macha reviewed one of our live shows, and I am very happy with what they’ve written.
Here are four originals that I’ve written, recorded and posted on SoundCloud. The audio quality isn’t great and there were some messy moments in the instrumentation, but the compositions do have a lot of potential.

Winter Demon:
After playing a lot of gigs with my band SHARD, and being a side man for another singer/guitarist, I’m now planning out what to do next. I still want to continue writing, recording and performing with SHARD, but I also want to do other things as well, for example, applying to join function bands or pub bands and play covers, do some session work and write and perform with other musicians. I’ll also be finding other ways to promote myself and get some recognition.
I have just finished my degree course at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. I really enjoyed the Guitar Performance course, tutors and staff were great and I met some amazing musicians. Now that I’ve finished my degree, it’s time to start the next chapter in my life.
